Specializing in operating on steep slope and terrain conditions, the Evolution Contracting team completed the Checkmark steep slope slip repair near Dallas Pike, West Virginia. Consisting of a 44 degree slope, the conditions required a custom engineered winch plan for the project.
The EC team was able to remove the slip material within the ROW, and then installed 800 ton of R6 rip-rap, for the rock buttress repair. Utilizing our team’s experience with winching equipment in steep terrain conditions, the rock was strategically hauled in by winching our track trucks down the slope.
