Evolution Contracting completed a Tuff Track installation at an active valve and pig launcher site near Waynesburg, PA. In order to install the rugged terrain mats, the project first required the EC crews to provide soil stabilization and reinforcement as the soft soil prevented access to the valve site.
After assessing the site, our team engineered a plan for stabilizing the active pipeline site, which included installation of geocells for reinforcement. Additional safety measures were implemented due to the nature of the active valve site.
